The thing you should want most is God’s kingdom and doing what God wants. Then all these other things you need will be given to you.

Summary

For 3 weeks we have been talking about 4 different fields.

I hope all of us will be the fourth one, the good field.

지난 3주간 우리는 4가지 다른 밭에 대해서 보았어요.

저와 여러분 모두 네번째, 좋은 밭이 되길 소망합니다.

Last week, I said we are still working on it.

Just like LEGO, God has given us all the things we need to build something wonderful. 

지난 주에 우리는 모두 아직 Working on it 이라고 했지요.

마치 레고처럼 아직 완성되지 않았지만, 우리 안에 멋진 건물을 짓기 위해 필요한 것은 모두 있다고 했어요.

We can complete it with God’s various ways of help.

하나님이 여러가지 방법으로 도와주시면 우리는 멋지게 완성할 수 있을 거예요.

When you go to a LEGO store, how many kinds of LEGO sets are there?

Hundreds and thousands of different LEGO sets are there!

여러분이 레고 가게에 가보면, 얼마나 많은 종류의 레고가 있나요?

수백개, 수천개의 레고가 있지요?

What would be your favorite?

어떤게 여러분이 어떤 레고를 가장 좋아하나요?

You may like a big box with so much fancy stuff in it. Some LEGOs you can make it move, and control them. These are the pricey ones.

여러분은 엄청 큰 박스에 들어있는 팬시한 레고를 좋아하나요?

어떤 건 조종기로 움직이게 할 수도 있지요. 그런 건 값이 비싼 레고지요.

There are small simple LEGO sets too. 

그리고, 또 작고 단순한 레고 세트도 있어요.

All the different shapes and sizes of LEGOs are there, just like humans.

마치 사람들처럼 레고도 각각 모양도 크기도 다 다르죠.

Some people are very famous and rich, others are not as famous or rich.

어떤 사람들은 유명하고 부자라서 팬시한 것을 많이 가졌고,

다른 사람들은 그런 걸 갖지 못합니다.

Just like show windows of the LEGO store where the fanciest ones are usually on the display, many people look upto famous stars, and the rich. 

레고 가게의 창문에도 아주 크고 화려한, 팬시한 레고들이 전시된 것처럼,

사람들도 유명하고 돈이 많은 부자들을 부러워합니다.

People do not give much attention to simple, ordinary people.

사람들은 평범하고 부자가 아닌 사람들에 대해서는 별로 관심을 갖지 않지요.

Do you think God would do that too?

여러분 생각에, 하나님도 그럴 것 같나요?

Not at all.

전혀 아닙니다.

In fact, the disciples and close friends of Jesus were mostly not rich.

사실, 제자들과 예수님의 가까운 친구들은 대부분 부자들이 아니었어요.

Let me ask you a question.

Which is more important, life on the earth? Or in Heaven?

질문을 하나 해볼게요!

이 지구에서 살아가는 삶이 중요한가요? 아니면 천국의 삶이 더 중요한가요?

It is almost the same question of which is more important, the entrance of a house or the rooms in the house?

이건 마치 집으로 들어가는 입구와 집 자체를 비교하는 것과도 같아요.

The house itself is much more important than the entrance.

당연히 집 자체가 입구 보다 훨씬 중요합니다.

You only pass through the entrance quickly, then stay in the house and do all kinds of things there. 

입구는 금방 지나가버리지만, 집에서 우리는 정말 많은 것들을 하잖아요.

Being a fancy person on the earth is not a bad thing, but being a wonderful person in Heaven is far more important! Isn’t it?

마찬가지로, 지구에서 살아갈 때 팬시한 것이 나쁜 것은 아니지만,

천국에서 멋진 사람인 것이 비할 수 없이 더 중요한 것입니다. 그렇죠?

Do you know what makes you the most wonderful person in Heaven?

무엇이 여러분을 천국에서 가장 멋진 사람으로 만들어 주나요?

Let me explain with LEGO again.

레고로 다시 설명해볼게요.

It doesn’t matter how big or small or how expensive that is.

얼마나 큰지, 작은 지, 얼마나 비싼 것인지는 전혀 중요하지 않아요.

Only matter is how much you complete what God has given you!

중요한 것은 하나님이 우리에게 주신 것을 얼마나 잘 완성했는가! 거기에만 있어요.

Yes, that is the most important matter.

맞아요! 그게 가장 중요한 것이에요!

Like a parent gives a set of LEGO his/ her child can handle, God will give us lives fit for each one of us.

엄마나 아빠가 아이에게 맞는 레고를 선물하는 것처럼, 하나님도 우리 각자에게 꼭 맞는 삶을 주실 거예요.

So, do not compare yourself to others much.

How fancy does not matter to God.

그러니 다른 사람들과 비교하지 마세요.

얼마나 팬시한가는 하나님께 전혀 중요하지 않아요.

No matter how small or big the box is,

What God gives you is the best for you.

And everything you need to compete is in the box.

Prayer

Dear God,

You have always given us everything we need.

Let us faithfully build our lives up with you.

No matter what shape or size, it will be the best for us.

Because that is your gift for us.

And you know us the best.

Let us always know this truth.

하나님 아버지,

하나님은 우리에게 필요한 것을 모두 주셨습니다.

이제 주님과 함께 우리의 삶을 신실하게 만들어가고 싶습니다.

우리의 삶이 어떤 모양이나 크기든 우리에게 최선의 것임을 믿습니다.

우리를 가장 잘 아시는 

주님의 선물이기 때문입니다.

우리가 이 진실을 항상 알게 해주세요.
